Founded in 1996, FACT (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy) is a non-profit corporation that sets standards for high-quality medical and laboratory practices in cellular therapies. FACT was co-founded by the International Society for Cell and Gene Therapy (ISCT) and the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT) to provide voluntary inspection and accreditation for cellular therapy. Currently, over 90% of eligible facilities and programs in the US are FACT accredited.
